Engagement: Brian & Clare

There are some couples I will never forget. Brian and Clare are one of those couples. They met in high school, she thought he was cute and he was to shy to get her number. A few years after they graduated they bumped into each other again, and the rest is history. Since then they've moved all over the country, from their home state of Texas, to Washington D.C., getting engaged at a Bed and Breakfast on the East Coast, to moving to California for Brian to go to Law School at USC.

Brian and Clare, I had so much fun at the beach with you two! It was fun for me to share some of my California knowledge with some new Californians! I hope your wedding in Texas is everything you dream of!

Engagement: Chris & Brooklin

He's quiet, she's full of laughter. And they are crazy in love with each other.

We headed down to my favorite beach, El Matador State Beach in Malibu, for Chris & Brooklin's engagement shoot. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.






















Usually when I shoot at El Matador I keep to the rocks and the water, but this time we decided to try some new locations under the houses on the beach. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Nature: El Matador State Beach

El Matador State Beach in Malibu might be my new favorite beach. Not only is it amazing to shoot at, but I love the little tide pools and all the creatures that live in them. I got there a little early last week to shoot the Beattys so I had a few extra minutes to explore and take some pictures just for me, which I haven't gotten to do much of lately. It was a nice change of pace and I absolutely love the pictures!













This little guy was sitting there staring at me for a good 5 minutes. He was such a good subject!
