Holiday: 4th of July : Sneak Peek!

Hey everybody... so I know it's been a few weeks since I blogged. Summer has been a bit crazier then I expected. I knew my schedule was going to go from 12.5 hours a week to 40+, but I didn't know what that would do to my body and my life outside of work. Running around outside after 50 kids everyday for 8-9 hours takes everything out of me and when I get home I'm extremely tired and just plain wiped out. The rest of my time has been spent running around trying to keep my life in order. I only have 5 more weeks (well 4 and 1 week vacation!) until I'm back to being bored out of my mind all day. Until then, please forgive any delayed responses and lack of blog posting. I've got tons of pictures from our 4th of July trip to Mammoth, a trip to the zoo, and even a few from work, which happen to all be sitting on my desktop just waiting to be edited. I've also got a few things coming up which I can't wait to share with you! We've got a bridal shower for my cousin's fiance this weekend, their wedding at the end of next month, and I'm thinking about doing a few FAQ posts (leave any questions you want me to answer in the comments)!

But until then (which might be next week?) I've got a sneak peek of our trip to Mammoth!

I totally feel you about being super busy! I always feel bad when I come back from shooting all day or from a long vacation and the task of editing all those pictures becomes so daunting. I'm still back logged a couple of months! I really want to improve the processing and editing part of my photography and really streamline my work flow so it doesn't take so much time ... how does your process go?

And what a great shot! What lens were you using? Also, do you use any editing programs? The colors are so vibrant!

Nice capture! I feel you on the busy busy busy. I have been super sick too so I feel like between work and rest I have no time to focus (ha) on the one thing I actually want to in life: photography!

That is beautiful! I know this is really, late, but things have been super busy! I've been lucky to even get things up on my own blog. I'm jealous that you were practically on top of the fireworks!
